(MENAFN- Ikar holdings) London based Ikar Holdings, a multi-tiered entrepreneurial group of companies, has announced today that that it is intending to invest 1 Billion Turkish liras into the energy sector in Türkiye!
The group’s leadership is looking back to decades of experience in the energy sector ranging from production to distribution and trading.
Within the last 10 years the energy sector in Türkiye has developed in an outstanding way and it took a leading role in Europe by transforming its energy dependency from other countries into a local majority production through renewable energy production.
“Although the Turkish economy is currently facing major challenges we believe in the market and its growth potential. The appointment of Mr. Mehmet Simsek as new Finance Minister was a significant move to give confidence to international investors, due to his extraordinary experience and knowledge in the international finance markets. That said we want to participate with our group in this interesting environment and decided to look into promising investments”, said Mario Diel, Group Chairman and CEO of IKAR Holdings, London.
